I’m Back!
So sorry that I have been off the scene for so long. I made a big move out to Redding, California to pursue Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry. I honestly didn’t know that this was something I wanted to do but I told God I was spiritually bankrupt and I heard Him say Bethel. In April I began to look into the school and knew I should apply. After 6 months of living with frustration, anger, and disappointment I knew I had to find hope in God again. I was blaming Him for the circumstance that had happened in my life instead of realizing there is an enemy who is lurking about trying to destroy and bring me down.
Upon arriving to Redding, I found housing, got moved in with my roommates (both from Tulsa), and was ready for the adventure to begin. Literally adventure is all there is to do in Redding. On our first weekend off, my roommates and I went on our first excursion to some waterfalls about 30 minutes out of town! As we were headed back home from the falls, we were in a car accident. I suffered a severe concussion and brain bleed. However, things could have been so much worse. This accident caused me to realize how much God’s hand really was on my life, and how much of a good Father He actually is.
I stepped out in faith asking God to meet me here; and let me tell you, He has done just that. The people He has brought into my life and the healing He has been doing in me has been incredible! My joy is being restored and the bitterness is falling off. I recently went to visit all my friends back in Tulsa, and they shared that they noticed a difference in me. It dawned on me that I wasn't carrying bitterness and pain but the joy was already starting to transform me from the inside out. This made me even more eager to get back to school to see what else God has in store for me. This is just the beginning.
If you are in a place of striving or just worn out, I’m here to tell you that there is hope. Jesus is just waiting for you with arms wide open to come to Him and find rest. My desire in sharing a bit of my story is that you will be encouraged to put your hope in the only one who will never let you down. It was not by mistake that you read this post. If you need encouragement or simply want to reach out, please leave a comment or email me. I would love to be given the opportunity to pour into you.
With that being said, it’s time to get back to regular fashion posts once more, because who doesn't love fashion. Thank you Jesus for the fall and this season of layers, boots, and sweaters. Keep checking my Instagram: bsparks22 and the blog because there is much in store!
Thanks for all your support and love.
Lets Fly
xx Brooke!
