Easter is such a fun holiday as we feel the change of temperate, see flowers are in bloom (and allergies), the bunny is out, and the hunt is on. It is a time that signifies change is in the air. This is exactly what Jesus had in mind when He died on the cross for our sins.
Jesus lived his life sold out for his father. He was a dedicated son who lived every moment of his time on earth sharing the love of God and setting an example. He knew his time was going to be short lived but he never faltered. The word tells us that Jesus died so that we would have life and life more abundantly (John 10:10). He gave his life as a sacrifice for ALL who will receive him. He took on the cross that very day, as he was rejected and beaten he bore ALL sins, fears, sickness, regrets and buried them. He was in the tomb for three days before he rose again proving that death had no hold on him. The battle is done and the victory is OURS.
You see there is a season for all things under the sun. Jesus knows exactly where you are at in this exact moment in time. Have you been broken down, disappointed, hurt and confused? Let me tell you this... He is with you. The word says that he will never leave you or forsake you (DEUT 31:6), this however does not mean that you wont go through the valley it simply means while you are in the valley look to the cross and KEEP MOVING FORWARD. Your circumstance does not define you. Press into Jesus as you thank him for his sacrifice he gave his life for your life. It doesn't matter what you have done or the life you have been living, what matters is that you choose today to come to the feet of Jesus and lay it down at the cross receiving what he DIED for you to have!
